Accessible Bathroom Adaptation - Social Housing Property
Complete bathroom adaptation including level-access shower, grab rails, and non-slip flooring for a disabled tenant in occupied social housing property.
Working closely with occupational therapists and housing officers, we transformed a standard bathroom into a fully accessible wet room. The project required careful coordination to minimise disruption to the tenant and included waterproofing, drainage modifications, and installation of specialist fixtures.
Wheelchair Ramp Installation - Council Building
Installation of permanent wheelchair ramp system with handrails and safety features at main entrance to council offices.
This project involved creating compliant access to a Grade II listed council building. We worked with conservation officers to ensure the ramp design was sympathetic to the building while meeting current accessibility standards. Included groundwork modifications and matching materials.
Community Centre Internal Renovation
Internal refurbishment of main hall and meeting rooms including painting, flooring, and accessibility improvements.
Full internal renovation of a busy community centre, completed during a planned closure period. Work included dry lining, painting, new flooring throughout, and minor access improvements. Coordinated with multiple user groups to ensure minimal disruption to community activities.
School Play Area Surface Improvements
Replacement of playground surfacing and installation of new safety fencing around school play equipment.
Working during school holidays to upgrade playground safety surfaces and perimeter fencing. Project included removal of old tarmac, installation of impact-absorbing wet pour surface, and new powder-coated fencing. All work completed to current playground safety standards.
